Marijn Bolhuis is an economist in the African Department at the IMF. His research interests include inflation, monetary policy, trade, housing, and machine learning forecasting. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto. During his PhD, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Oxford’s Centre for the Study of African Economies.
